why would an atheist spend any time at all in the religion section if i felt smugly assured there was no higher power i wouldnt waste a second of my depleting life here any more than i would be debating the existence of unicorns or pixies Doesnt add up and no atheists are giving me a decent answer
Christians and atheists among others live beside each other in harmony everyday our differences rarely coming into play The bashing is an RS phenomena with anonymity allowing the worst of each group to surface
Of course I cant speak for all atheist any more than you speak for all Christians but you bring up an interesting point I attack gently and logically any religion that obstructs a persons freedom to choose and find their own way
It would have to be empirical evidence for the existence of god This would remove the need for religion by making god a scientific certainty
The atheists dont seem to want to admit that even religion postWorld War II has been almost fully corrupted by secularism At this point the American atheists are essentially fighting among themselves to promote personal political views It seems clear that politics has become a proxy for religion among the atheists
